BC Housing – Seniors Rental Housing

Tumbler Ridge senior housing is under construction on Pioneer Loop. There will be 12 units for rent, and they will be market rental based and managed directly by BC Housing.

Some criteria will apply: seniors aged 55 and over or couples with at least one person aged 55 or older.

Persons with disabilities (recognized disability pension) or disabled for income tax purposes will be eligible. For couples at least one person must meet the criteria.

Income limits for eligible individuals or households are based on Core Need Income Thesholds, established by CMHC, and vary by community. Residents will pay a maximum rent of 30 percent of their income. The criteria outlined here is in the most general terms.
