Junk Wars Challenge
Wednesday October 21, 2009  | (l-r) Garett, Nick, Elliott, Kyla, Dalton, Freya, Tumbler Ridge 11th South Peace Scouts, are recycling wood off cuts to make birdhouses, this is part of the annual Junk Wars challenge. The one-hour scout challenge was to create a birdhouse that is intended for non-migrating local birds. 14th October 2009.
The Junk War Challenge is set by Scouts Canada to get the youth thinking about looking at surplus or left over items differently and have some fun doing it.
